Our craft and materials

At FUSED & FRAMED TABLE CO., we believe true art is found in the details. Discover the passion, precision, and unique elements that define every piece we create, transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences.

The interplay of light and depth

Standard tables absorb light; our tables capture and reflect it. By placing individual glass tiles piece-by-piece, every mosaic has its own subtle angles and contours. When we pour the crystal-clear epoxy over the top, it acts like a magnifying lens. It locks in the texture of the grout and tile while creating a mirror-like, ultra-glossy shine that makes the colors pop with an intense, gem-like brilliance. The table literally changes personality depending on the time of day and how the sun hits the room.

Meticulous piece-by-piece artistry

There are no shortcuts or mass production lines in our workshop. Every single mosaic pattern is completely original and hand-laid. We don't use pre-made tile sheets; we hand-select and place stone and glass fragments to create fluid, organic movements—like a vibrant river flowing right through a solid piece of wood. It requires immense patience to ensure the design is fluid, the grout lines are clean, and the finish is perfect.

Our signature ocean river pedestal table

One of our absolute favorite examples of material fusion is how we created our signature "Ocean River" Pedestal Table. It started with a vision to trap the fluid, moving energy of water inside a rigid, structural piece of furniture. We began with a beautiful, heavy round wooden base and frame. Instead of treating the wood as just a tabletop, we carved out a deep recessed channel through the center to serve as our blank canvas. Then came the meticulous artistry. Piece by piece, we hand-laid a vibrant mosaic pattern using hand-cut glass tiles in a spectacular gradient of deep ocean blues, bright turquoises, and energetic greens. To create a striking contrast that anchors the whole design, we swirled the jewel-toned tiles around a brilliant center of fragmented crisp white glass. Once the layout was perfect, we packed a dark, textured grout between the tiles to lock them into place and make the individual colors pop. The final magic happened with the pour, where we flooded the entire mosaic with crystal-clear epoxy.

Unrivaled visual vibrancy

Because we hand-select vibrant glass and stone tiles piece-by-piece, our tabletops possess a natural texture and variation in angle. When sealed beneath our premium poured epoxy, this creates a beautiful optical depth. The crystal-clear resin acts like a magnifying glass, capturing ambient room light and reflecting it off the glass facets below. The benefit to the customer is a statement piece that literally changes personality throughout the day as natural sunlight shifts across the room.

Lifelong durability

Fine mosaic work is traditionally beautiful but can be delicate or difficult to clean if left exposed. By encasing the hand-laid tiles and grout inside a thick, heavy-duty layer of cured epoxy, we create a surface that is completely flat, completely sealed, and incredibly tough. Our customers get the best of both worlds: the intricate, high-end look of stone and glass art, paired with a scratch-resistant, spill-proof surface that will last for generations.
